I don^t know if you have noticed it as well but when people have some opinion about you, they are unlikely to change it. For me it has always been frustrating and kind of strange. I thought that it is not fair that someone will judge you in the same way for your entire life. After all people change and they change their point of view as well as opinion about various issues. You have to accept it and respect the fact that they are different and you should treat them as such. You want the same from them after all, am I right? Recently I have met my old friends and they all thought that I work at this translation agency all the time. I have changed my job a long time ago and I was no longer working for them. I wanted them to know about this and they were not listening to me. They were acting as if I was still a part of this company. I tried to explain them that I have changed my job and that right now I work in advertising company. It is my passion and I love it. That didn^t work. They still look at me as if I was the same person. I hope that you and your friends are different and that one day, my friends will change their attitude as well.
